Who We Are
Doug Cornish, DMD
I’ve always known that I wanted to work in the healthcare field. Coupled with the fact that I enjoy working with my hands, dentistry has proven to be a most satisfying career choice. This professional path was previously laid out for me by my grandfather, who owned a successful dental practice in Arkansas. A respected member of our hometown community and a great family man, my grandfather definitely had an influence in my life.
Growing up in North Little Rock, AR, I was active in sports throughout elementary and high school. I received my undergraduate degree, a BA in Microbiology, from the University of Arkansas. In 2004, I graduated from the University of Louisville School of Dentistry with my Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree. For the next eight years, I practiced dentistry in Nashville, TN, where I owned my first practice.
A desire to be closer to my family, led me to Texas in 2012. In August of 2015, I married the love of my life from Mesquite, TX. We now have two little boys ages 2 and 4.
Our Friendly Smiles
Kassandra has been with Crandall Dental since April 2019. She graduated from Tyler Junior College in 2002 with an Associate of Applied Science degree in Dental Hygiene. She also received her Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene in 2013 from Northern Arizona University. She currently serves as the Texas Dental Hygienists' Association's trustee for Dallas. When she is not helping people improve their smiles, she enjoys reading and spending time with her family.
Susan has been with Dr. Cornish since July 2021-She started her dental career as an assistant in 1988 and has been front office since 2004. She likes getting to know her patients and helping them maximize their dental insurance to achieve their forever smiles. Susan and her husband moved to Texas in 2018 to be closer to family and enjoy their time with their grandbabies. They enjoy watching hockey, football and NASCAR when not taking the babies fishing!
With 24 years of experience in dentistry, Lisa has transitioned from assisting to managing the front office at Crandall Dental. She enjoys connecting with new people and supporting her coworkers. Outside the office, Lisa loves outdoor adventures, traveling, and cherishing quality time with family and friends.
With 25 years as a dental assistant, Sharla is dedicated to ensuring patients feel happy and comfortable during their visits. She loves getting to know each patient personally. In her free time, Sharla enjoys traveling and spending quality time with her family.
Being a dental assistant for 27 years, Lindy loves helping patients make a difference in their dental health. She loves working with others who are passionate about their job and having the chance to assist Lindy with what she does best: making patients smile. When she isn’t helping patients improve their smiles, she enjoys spending time outdoors with her family and friends. Also, reading and traveling.
